1. Information We Collect
Account information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password. For paid plans, billing information is handled securely by our payment processor; we never store your full credit card number.
Content you create: We store the presentations, courses, and experiences you build, including uploaded files and the prompts you provide to our AI systems.
Usage data: We automatically collect information about how you use the platform: which features you use, how long you spend, and technical details like browser type and IP address. This helps us fix bugs and improve the product.
Third-party sign-in: If you sign in with Google or another provider, we receive basic profile information from that service.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Run your account and process payments
- Generate AI content based on your prompts
- Store and serve your content
- Send essential account emails (confirmations, billing, security alerts)
- Fix bugs and improve the platform
- Prevent fraud and comply with legal obligations
We also send optional marketing emails that you can opt out of at any time.

4. Your Content
Content and presentations you create on Unni.ai belongs to you. We do not claim any ownership of your content.
Private content is only visible to you unless you explicitly share it. We do not use your private content to train AI models. If we ever want to use your content for training purposes, we will ask for your explicit permission first.
Anonymized usage patterns and prompts that cannot be traced back to you may be used to improve our services and AI systems.
Because AI processing involves external systems, we recommend avoiding uploading highly sensitive, confidential, or legally regulated data to the platform.

If you believe content generated through the platform infringes your rights, please refer to the Copyright and DMCA section of our Terms of Service.
When you delete content, it is removed from active servers within 24 hours and from backups within 90 days.
If you need a special arrangement for handling sensitive data, please contact us to discuss enterprise options.
5. Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and make the platform work. We also may use optional analytics cookies to understand how people use the product. You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings.
6. Data Security
We encrypt all data in transit and at rest. Access to user data is restricted to employees who need it for their job, and all access is logged. We perform regular security audits and maintain backups with geographic redundancy.
If a data breach occurs, we will notify affected users within 72 hours with details about what happened and what to do.
7. Data Retention
While your account is active, we retain all data needed to provide the service.
Before closing your account, we strongly recommend exporting your data. You can do this at any time using the “Export Data” feature in your account settings. Once you delete your account, it is immediately marked for deletion on our servers and the process cannot be reversed. Your data is permanently deleted from active servers within 30 days and from backups within 90 days. We are not able to recover deleted accounts or their data.
Accounts without an active subscription are considered inactive. Inactive accounts and their associated data may be deleted after 60 days from the date the subscription expires, without further notice.
Payment records are kept for 7 years as required by tax law. Usage logs are kept for 12-24 months for security and debugging.
